Vintersquash – Pumpkin

Pumpkin is one of my favorite vegetables, because they are so versatile. They are easy to grow, the need lots of fertilizer and time but that is pretty much all. We grow different varieties, all of them sweet and full of flavor. After harvesting, we let them cure for about 2 weeks. After that, they can be stored for a few month.

Store
In a cool, dry place for a few month. Once cut, keep them in the fridge for about 1 week.

Recipes

Did you know that you can eat them raw? But of course, there is lots of options to cook them. Generally, we look for varieties that don’t need to be peeled. The seeds can be used as well!
