Sweet, tender and terribly good for you. Spinach likes to be cold – in summer it flowers very quickly, so it is mostly grown in spring and autumn. As a leafy green, it is a fast grower, and one of the first vegetables on your plate after a long winter.
Store:
Keep spinach in the plastic bag and in the fridge. It stores up to one week. Revive the leaves in cold water for a few minutes if needed.
