Fresh vegetables from Loshult

Olivias Grönsaker is a regenerative market garden, where we grow vegetables and herbs without pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and artificial fertilizer. We love to provide fresh, healthy, tasty food for the local community. From beans to kale, tomatoes to fennel, oregano to rosemary, all sown and grown by hand here in Loshult, just outside of Älmhult.

We love our vegetables as they are, with minimal packaging, no transport, no storage, straight from farm to fork. For the freshest taste we harvest in the morning, so there is literally only a few hours from harvest to meal. No time to lose on taste!

Olivia is an educated organic gardener with some years of experience running her own, previous company. She loves to grow veggies, good food and happy people.

At Olivias Grönsaker, a healthy soil is the basis of what we do. We like to call ourselves “worm farmers”, because taking care of soil-life is the best care for our vegetables. A healthy soil is strong and resilient to pests, disease and extreme weather. It hosts the soil-food-web, a community of organisms, that compost organic matter into food for our plants. Together they make sure each plant has the right nutrients at the right time. We are proud to say that our food is full of life!

Soil is at its best when covered, that is why we applied a layer of compost to keep our worms happy and weeds unnecessary. Once covered, we don’t dig or turn the soil again to let the soil-food-web do its work. Our goal is to leave this beautiful spot on earth with more biodiversity and better soil than we found it. And, of course, our fresh vegetables make people happy, too!
